At Rokersbenodigdheden, you can count on the manufacturer's warranty for every brand we sell. Some products, such as Zippo lighters, even come with a lifetime warranty.
Zippo lifetime warranty
Every original Zippo lighter comes with the world-famous lifetime manufacturer's warranty from the Zippo Manufacturing Company. Has your Zippo stopped working? Then we will repair or replace it, guaranteed, regardless of how old it is or where you bought it.
How does the Zippo warranty work?
- Bring your defective Zippo to our shop at Molenstraat 120, Nijmegen, or send it to Lange Hezelstraat 26, 6511 CK Nijmegen with a note (name + return address + email address).
- We will forward your Zippo to Zippo Europe for inspection free of charge.
- Within 2 to 6 weeks, you will receive your repaired or replaced Zippo back, also free of charge.
Please note: the warranty covers the Zippo's inner mechanism. Wear to the case (scratches, worn paint or lacquer) is not covered by the warranty, as that is exactly what gives a Zippo its character.
Warranty on other brands
- Clipper: 1-year manufacturer's warranty on the gas tank and the ignition mechanism.
- Colibri / Xikar / Visol: 2-year manufacturer's warranty on the internal mechanism.
- Jetflame lighters (Zorr, Lux, Prof): 1-year manufacturer's warranty.
- Cigar cutters / cases / accessories: 2-year statutory conformity warranty.
- Pipes & pipe tools: 2-year warranty on material and manufacturing defects.
What is not covered by the warranty?
- Normal wear and tear and cosmetic damage (scratches, dents, fading).
- Damage caused by misuse or accidents (e.g. dropping it in water, using unsuitable fuel).
- Flints, wicks and gas: these are consumables that you replace yourself.
- Products that have been modified or repaired outside an authorised repair point.
Proof of purchase
For warranty claims on non-Zippo products, we generally require your proof of purchase (order confirmation email or till receipt). No longer have it? Email service@rokersbenodigdheden.com with your name and (approximate) date of purchase, and we will look it up in our system.
